Except for the northern coast by the Mediterranean Sea, there is practically no precipitation. The climate changes from the north, where the Mediterranean climate prevails without significant extremes. Towards the south, a typical desert climate prevails with high summer temperatures and zero precipitation.<\/p>\n<p>Hurghada is located on the shores of the Red Sea and its climate is moderated by this. The land is warmed in winter and slightly cooled by the wind in summer. Winters here are very pleasant with average temperatures exceeding 20 \u00b0C, it is cooler at night.<\/p>\n<p>The spring (March-May) and autumn months (October-November) are most similar in character to the summers in the south of Europe, and thus represent the ideal time to visit. The average temperature during the day exceeds 30 \u00b0C and does not fall below 20 \u00b0C at night. In the spring, the so-called Chams\u00edns, hot winds from the desert bringing sandstorms and unusually high temperatures for this period (occasionally even over 40 \u00b0C). Autumn, on the other hand, is characterized by higher air humidity, which increases the average daily temperature of 31-36 \u00b0C to over 40 \u00b0C.<\/p>\n<p>The summer temperatures then correspond to the position of Hurghada, which lies practically on the Tropic of Cancer, and the sun here shines at an angle of almost 90 \u00b0 and therefore has the greatest power. Despite this, the weather is moderated by low humidity and a pleasant breeze from the sea. During the day, air temperatures hover around 37 \u00b0C, often slightly exceeding 40 \u00b0C.
